Rainy day socks are a perfect match to enjoy a hot cup of tea whilst listening to rain hit the roof. Cute sock pattern for spring time or to have a splash of colour for autumn. Rainy day socks are short, colourworks socks that are knitted from DK/Aran weight yarn.

Techniques used in this pattern include colourwork knitting, yarn dominance, duplicate stitch and hourglass heel (short row heel). Long runs between patterns at the start of the chart and using 3 to 4 yarns at the same time can be challenging for starter knitters.
